Nagaland bags tourism award

Nagaland Tourism bagged the award of India’s Most Picturesque Destination of the year 2008 at the 11th Today’s Traveller’s Platinum Award held at Hotel Crown Plaza, New Delhi, on August 25. According to an official bulletin, the award was received by commissioner & secretary (Tourism), Nagaland, KK Sema and director T Alem Pongener, accompanied by executive engineer T Patton and Kuolie Mere, PRO, Nagaland House, New Delhi. The ceremony was graced by Union minister for Tourism and Culture Ambika Soni and renowned film producer and director Yash Chopra as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
