Nagaland: Bicycles distributed to girl students in Tuli

DIMAPUR

In a major boost to female education in Tuli sub-division, Mokokchung district administration on December 9 distributed bicycles to girl students from economically weaker sections under the initiative “Pedaling towards a brighter future.”
According to a DIPR report, the programme was carried out under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of State Bank of India (SBI) “Empowering Education.” Beneficiaries included girl students from Government High School (GHS) Tuli and Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Tzudikong, Tuli.
Officials from the district administration expressed gratitude to SBI, particularly the Guwahati CSR team led by the AGM (CSR) and the Regional Manager, RBO Mokokchung, for their support.
The administration also called for collective cooperation in building a society where no child is restricted by lack of resources, and where every young person has the opportunity to advance both literally and figuratively.
