Nagaland Box Cutting Area renamed as AKMWC Park

With the approval of the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) and the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) vide notification KMC/PRO-01/2019-20/818 dated November 1, 2023, the area previously known informally as Box Cutting Area has been officially designated as AKMWC Park.
Therefore, any individual, group, organisation or entity intending to use the park for events, activities or related purposes have been informed to obtain prior permission from the competent authority—the Association of Kohima Municipal Wards Council (AKMWC).
