Bakalia Sand Mahaldar Welfare Society (BSMWS) Karbi Anglong Wednesday informed that it has resolved to revise the price of sand. In a press release, BSMWS president Bimol Teron stated that the resolution was taken at BSMWS meeting on October 26, 2025.
Teron informed that new rate of Rs.25/CFT x400 CFT= Rs. 10,000 would come into effect from November 1, 2025. BSMWS has, therefore, informed all the buyers/truck owner and driver to pay the revised rate at the BSMWS office for smooth functioning of the business. BSMWS stated that one could load the sand from any mahal only after paying the said amount.
