Nagaland Business hours extended in Kohima

DIMAPUR

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, NCS, has issued an order directing all shops and commercial establishments within Kohima town to extend their business hours up to 8 pm on all business days, with immediate effect.
According to DIPR report, the directive, issued in view of the upcoming festive season and aimed at boosting business activity, also instructs business owners and managements to ensure adequate lighting and basic security measures within and around their premises during the extended hours.
To maintain public safety and law and order, the Deputy Commissioner informed that law enforcement agencies will intensify beat patrolling and surveillance across the town.
Residents and business owners have been requested to extend full cooperation for the successful implementation of the order.
