Nagaland: Can Youth to observe World Cancer Day

DIMAPUR

Can Youth in collaboration with Department of Health & Family Welfare, and supported by India Cancer Foundation, would be observing World Cancer Day cum Consultative workshop on Cancer Challenges and way forward, on February 4, at Hotel Acacia, Dimapur.
A press release by programme manager, Can Youth, informed that secretary to Government of Nagaland, Health & Family Welfare, S. Taniu, would grace the programme as special guest and Mission Director, National Health Mission, directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Dr. Keveduyi Theyo, will deliver the keynote address.
The release informed that Ahimsa Zhimomi, a cancer survivor and founder beyond cancer would also be sharing her testimony. The workshop session would be facilitated by Surgical Oncologist, Dr. Imkongsanen, and Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Erikhe Doulo, both from District Hospital Dimapur.
The organizers have therefore requested NGOs, Civil societies, Education Institute to attend the programme and give sustainable suggestions on way forward of cancer challenges.
