Nagaland: Capacity building programme for MSMEs at Atoizu Town

DIMAPUR

As part of the Government’s initiative to strengthen the MSME ecosystem, a specialised capacity building programme under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme, supported by the World Bank, was organised by the Department of Industries & Commerce on January 28 at Jubilee Hall, Atoizu Town, and KPA Indoor Stadium, Asukhuto Town.
According to DIPR report, the programme was part of a two-day event in Atoizu Sub-division.
The training focused on “Equip MSMEs to Manage Business Efficiently,” “Entrepreneurship & Business Management,” and “Digital Marketing Trends and Social Media Marketing for MSMEs.”
Entrepreneurship trainer, Shoremong Yim, facilitated the sessions and elaborated on strategic business management and digital marketing approaches. Extra Assistant Commissioner, Atoizu, Dr. Samuel Akho Konyak P, highlighted the importance of fostering entrepreneurial culture and digital competence among MSMEs. District Project Associate, District Industries Centre, Zunheboto, Khekevi Awomi, briefed participants on scheme-based opportunities available under RAMP. Dobashis, representatives of Atoizu Town Council, entrepreneurs and youth attended the programme, which aimed to equip MSMEs with practical knowledge and skills to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
