Nagaland chief minister calls on Union Finance minister

Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio called on Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Delhi during his visit.
In a post on X, Rio expressed appreciation for her timely intervention in supporting Nagaland and other hill states through “Part-X, Pride of Hills” under SASCI, stating that the support reflected an understanding of hill states and would strengthen inclusive growth. He also underscored Nagaland’s fiscal challenges and the need for continued support to sustain developmental priorities. Rio expressed gratitude for Sitharaman’s assurance of continued support and understanding.
