Nagaland Chief minister lays annual administrative reports

Chief minister Neiphiu Rio, laid the annual administrative reports 2023-04 of the following departments on the second day of the 14th NLA on February 27.
Following are the reports of the departments: New & Renewal Energy, State Council of Education Research & Training (SCERT), Technical Education, Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Social Welfare, Tribal Affairs, Land Resources, Labour, Soil and Water Conservation, Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, Excise and Prohibition and Water Resources.


Deputy Chief Minister, Planning & Transformation and National Highway T. R. Zeliang laid the annual administrative reports 2023-2024 of the departments Planning & Transformation and Geology & Mining while minister of Women Resource Development and Horticulture Salhoutuonuo Kruse laid the reports of departments Women Resource Development and Horticulture.
The chief minister also laid the reports/rules of The Nagaland Municipal Election Rules 2023 and The Nagaland Municipal Election (Delimitation of Wards) Rules, 2023.


Government bills introduced: Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, K. G. Kenye introduced “The Nagaland Salaries, Allowances & other Facilities of the Chief Minister, Speaker, Deputy Chief Minister/ Ministers, Leader of Opposition, Deputy Speaker and other Members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly and Pension for Ex Members (Sixth Amendment) Bill, 2024”.
“The Establishment of Private University Bill, 2024” was introduced by minister of Higher Education Temjen Imna Along and chief minister Neiphiu Rio introduced “The Nagaland Goods and Services Tax (Eight Amendment) Bill, 2023.”
