Nagaland: Chozuba ADC issues directives for Republic Day preparations

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Chozuba, Dr. Diana Patton, has informed that a mass social work will be carried out in Chozuba town under Phek district on January 24, 2026, from 7 a.m. onwards in view of the Republic Day celebration. The exercise will be supervised by the Extra Assistant Commissioner and will involve participation from government employees, civil societies, police, and defence personnel. Councillors and GBs will initiate and monitor the work in their respective colonies. In a separate notification, the ADC has outlined the work distribution for the Republic Day programme at Chozuba headquarters on January 26, 2026. According to a DIPR report, parade contingents will include BSF 111 Bn, GHSS Chozuba, NCC of GHS Japan Riba, and GHS Yoruba, with GHSS Chozuba leading the national anthem. Heads of offices have been instructed to hoist the national flag at their respective establishments at 6:00 a.m. on January 26. Attendance of all government employees under the Sub-Division will be strictly monitored. Departments assigned for specific duties have been asked to submit their completion reports to the overall in-charge by 4:00 p.m. on January 25.
