Nagaland Christian Fellowship Conclave fosters spiritual renewal and leadership reflection

Nagaland Christian Fellowship (NCF) Conclave was held from September 26 to 28 at the Council of Baptist Churches in Northeast India (CBCNEI), Guwahati, hosted by the NCF Guwahati unit. The three-day event witnessed the participation of 34 delegates representing 21 NCF units from various metro cities across India.
The conclave featured a blend of worship, business sessions, experience sharing and recreational activities, aimed at fostering spiritual renewal and strengthening fellowship among participants.
Distinguished speakers included Rev. Dr. Mar Pongener, general secretary of Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC); Lipokwati Lemtur, director of No Place Left Ministry; Rev. Lipok Pongen, secretary of Nagaland Missions Movement (NMM); and Rev. Dr. Namseng R. Marak, secretary general of CBCNEI.
Speaking on the theme “Diligent Pastor” based on 1 Timothy 4:13–16, Rev. Dr. Mar Pongener emphasized the essential qualities of a faithful pastor—consistency in prayer, commitment to the Word, care for the congregation, and integrity in leadership.
Rev. Lipok Pongen, in his message titled “Our Faith as a Leader,” drew from Genesis 32, Mark 10 and Hebrews 10, highlighted the importance of persistent faith and trust in God’s timing. He encouraged delegates to seek divine guidance with unwavering conviction.
Lipokwati Lemtur extended a special gesture of support through a donation towards the conclave and shared insights on the evolving role of the Church.
He noted that Gen-Z seeks authenticity over performance-based faith, and that ministry must go beyond preaching and salary-based roles. He called for the Church to reflect the Father’s heart—welcoming, restorative and relational—and urged believers to be equipped and mobilized for Kingdom work.
The next NCF Conclave will be hosted by NCF Pune in 2027.
