Chubatanget Nokdir, son of Taongnukshi Nokdir from Molungyimsen village and currently residing in Dimapur, has brought laurels to Nagaland by winning multiple titles at the recently concluded Mr & Ms Northeast Championship 2025 organized by the World Fitness Federation (WFF) in Badarpur, Assam on December 28.
Nokdir clinched the Overall Classic Physique title, secured Gold in Men’s Physique and bagged Silver in Bodybuilding, marking a historic achievement as the first Naga athlete to compete and win at the WFF Championship.
The prestigious event witnessed participation from athletes across various Northeastern states. Nokdir stood out as the lone representative from Nagaland, competing under Team Moa Ozz with the guidance of his coach, Moakumzuk Ozukum.
Beyond his competitive success, Nokdir is also the co-founder of United Fitness Gym, located at Naga United village, 4th Mile, Dimapur, where he continues to inspire and train aspiring fitness enthusiasts.
His victory not only highlights the growing presence of Nagaland in the fitness and bodybuilding arena but also sets a new benchmark for athletes from the region aiming to make their mark at national and international platforms.
