Nagaland: CNTC welcomes signing of FNTA pact

DIMAPUR, FEB 10 (NPN)

Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) has congratulated the people of Eastern Nagaland and ENPO leadership and all stakeholders on signing of the historic tripartite agreement for creation of Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority (FNTA).
Terming it a landmark achievement, CNTC said the agreement marked a new chapter of peace, progress and inclusive development. It also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and chief minister Dr Neiphiu Rio for addressing the long-standing aspirations of the eastern districts, and wished the region a prosperous future.
