Nagaland COVID tally 1566

Nagaland’s COVID-19 tally rose to 1566 after 48 fresh cases were detected from Dimapur and Kohima on Thursday.

According to Health minister, S. Pangnyu Phom 32 cases were reported from Dimapur and 16 in Kohima.  Active surveillance and contact tracing had been activated to prevent further spreading of the infection. 
The tally as on July 30 stood at 1,566 cases– 935 active, 625 recovered and 6 deaths. Out of 6 deaths the Health department said 4 died due to COVID, 1 death (positive) but not due to COVID and 1 death under investigation– co-morbidities and positive case.
