Nagaland registered 19 more COVID-19 positive cases, while 60 persons recovered from the infection on July 7, taking the state’s total tally to 644 cases– 341 active and 303 recovered.
According to state Health department bulletin, 10 positive cases were reported from Mon, 8 from Tuensang and 1 from Kohima.
All positive cases have been referred to the respective COVID-19 hospitals for treatment.
As per the severity of symptoms, 338 active cases were asymptomatic and 2 active cases were mild, and 1 moderate case. Further, 59 persons have recovered from Peren and 1 from Kohima.
Meanwhile, a total of 14,151 samples were tested till July 7 and the results of 13,493 samples received. Out of the 14,151 samples, 9,071 samples were tested at the BSL-3 lab (NHAK), out of which 462 samples tested positive.
In addition, a total of 7, 934 samples were tested by TrueNat, out of which 211 tested positive and sent for confirmation by RT-PCR. Further, 7499 samples have tested negative.
