Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO) has vehemently condemned the inhumane and barbaric murder of Vihozhonu Zao, daughter of a 22-year-old girl of Jakhama village, which occurred on October 25. A condemnation noted by CPO further appealed the state government and law enforcing agencies to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the culprit(s) involved are brought to justice at the earliest. CPO further extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
ASUD: Ao Students’ Union Dimapur (ASUD) has strongly condemned the recent the brutal murder of a young woman and assault and robbery of another woman at Agri Farm Colony.
A press release by ASUD stated that such acts of violence are appalling, inhumane, and strike the very conscience of our society.
ASUD also demanded that justice be delivered swiftly and transparently, adding that the perpetrators must be identified and held accountable without delay.
It added that Nagas must question what has changed and how outside influences, weakening community vigilance, and increasing desensitisation to violence have contributed to this grim reality.
