Nagaland: CRPF 155 bn provide free bus service for NBSE examinees

DIMAPUR

In a gesture reflecting its motto of “Service and Loyalty”, the 155 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has rolled out a free bus service for students appearing in the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) Class 10 and 12 examinations.
The initiative, aimed at bridging the transport gap in remote areas, will benefit students commuting between Khuboto Town and Niuland. With public transport scarce in these terrains, the CRPF’s effort ensures that no student misses their crucial exams due to logistical hurdles. Parents, students, and community members have expressed deep gratitude, noting that the service not only eases physical travel but also provides peace of mind to young aspirants preparing for their academic future.
By stepping beyond its role as the “Shield of the Nation,” the 155 BN CRPF has reaffirmed its place as a true companion of society, demonstrating that security forces can also be pillars of compassion and community support.
