A fatal accident occurred opposite Zinyu Gas Agency on Tajen Ao Road around 8:40 p.m. on Sunday, claiming the life of a non-Naga man in his mid-70s.
Eyewitnesses reported that the deceased, a resident of Nepali Basti, was cycling from the DABA Town Fellowship side towards the Tajen Ao Road junction when a motorcycle traveling towards Notun Basti side collided with him, killing him instantly.
The bike rider also reportedly sustained grievous injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police could not be reached for further details.
