Nagaland: Damaged transformer disrupts power supply at Naga Bazaar

DIMAPUR

Department of Power has informed that the 11/0.4 KV, 500 KVA distribution transformer at Naga Bazaar, Kohima, was damaged due to overload on February 4, 2025, at around 10 am. As a result, power supply to the majority of Naga Bazaar Colony has been affected.
According to Executive Engineer, Electrical Division, Kohima, Er. Shiludi Longkumer, the department was making all possible arrangements to address the situation and assured that efforts are underway for timely replacement of the damaged transformer. Consumers in the affected areas have been requested to bear with the inconvenience until restoration is completed.
