Don Bosco Sports Academy (DBSA), Dimapur emerged as champions in both boys and girls categories at the First Autumn Basketball Tournament, held from October 23 to 25 at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur.
Organised by DBSA in collaboration with Dimapur District Basketball Association (DDBA), the tournament featured 13 teams from various institutions. Greenwood Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, secured the runner-up position in the boys’ category, while Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, finished second in the girls’ category.
The three-day event was officiated by district officials and concluded with a prize distribution ceremony.
DDBA technical director Alanthung congratulated the teams and encouraged them to remain passionate and strive for excellence. DDBA president Vitoto Chishio, along with other officials, handed over the trophies to the winners. The event concluded with a prayer led by Fr. Jaojian Daniel Gangmei, coordinator of DBSA Dimapur.
