DC Mon informs on commendation award

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mon, Wennyei Konyak, informed that deserving cases for district commendation award for gazette officers/non gazette are invited from the concerned head of departments for examination and consideration by the district level committee to be awarded on January 26, 2026.


According to DIPR report, the DC informed that while forwarding commendations, the following criteria are to be strictly observed; ACR/APAR for 3(three) years, length of service more than 10(ten) years, recommendation by the concerned HOD along with brief write up about exceptional contribution of the employee (Annexure ’A’), the HOD’s may only recommend 1 employee for each category/grade, citation/recommendations should be precise highlighting the performance and achievement of the individual recommended, and integrity certificate to be signed by forwarding authority.
The DC further informed that recommendation, if any should be duly filled up in the enclosed format (Annexure “A”) and submitted to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mon on or before January 22, 2026.
