In view of positive cases of Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) detected in four districts of the state, Nagaland has been officially declared as LSD positive. The declaration has been made in accordance with The Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals Act, 2009.
The Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, in consultation with the department concerned, would enforce all necessary preventive measures as per the advisory and guidelines issued by the Ministry of FAH&D.
