India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that dense fog conditions were very likely to continue during morning hours over North East region during next two-three days.
In its bulletin, the Met department stated that dense fog conditions were likely in isolated pockets over Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura till January 11.
IMD also stated that no significant change in minimum temperature was likely over North East during next 24 hours and gradual rise by 3-4°C during subsequent four days.
