Department of Labour Commissioner has informed that the Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) Scheme has been extended to all the districts of Nagaland State as notified by the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. In this regard, all concerned employers of the following establishments employing 10 or more persons are informed to register their establishments along with their coverable employees on or before January 31, 2026 – shops, hotels, restaurants, road motor transport establishments, newspaper establishments, private educational institutions, private medical institutions.
