Nagaland: ‘Dimapur Night Carnival’ from Dec 6

DIMAPUR, DEC 4 (NPN)

The annual Dimapur Night Carnival, jointly organised by the Dimapur Municipal Council, Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industries, and the District Administration, will be held from December 6 to 10.
The carnival is being organized as part of the Hornbill Festival extension, in collaboration with the State government and department of Tourism. The carnival aims to showcase the city’s culture, food, and entrepreneurship while enhancing the festive spirit.
The venue will stretch from Clock Tower to Police Point, Holy Cross School, transforming the area into a lively promenade of food stalls, music, handicrafts, entertainment, and family-friendly activities. Thousands of visitors from across the state and beyond are expected to attend.
Organisers announced best stall awards (First, Second, Third and 20 consolation prizes) based on creativity, engagement, and effective use of space with a Christmas theme. The last date for submission of forms is December 5, 2025. Interested individuals and entrepreneurs can collect forms from New DMC office, Forest Colony; Old DMC office, Marwari Patti; Titan Showroom, Dimapur; and Popular Bakery, Dimapur.
