Nagaland Dimapur police revise traffic regulations

DIMAPUR, NOV 26 (NPN)

Dimapur police on Wednesday announced that traffic regulations have been revised within the limit of Dimapur city.
In a traffic advisory, the commissioner of police (CP) Dimapur Aotula Imchen informed that route from Deluxe Point till Holy Cross Police Point and vice versa has been designated as two-way traffic (both directions) as per designated lanes.
Police informed that the route from Khermahal to Deluxe Point has also been designated as two-way traffic. Police stated that vehicles coming from Khermahal/Eros Lane towards Deluxe Point would only be allowed entry towards the New Flyover and would not be permitted entry toward Nyamo Lotha Road.
Vehicles coming from MP road would be allowed entry toward NL Road or the New Flyover but entry towards Khermahal would be restricted. Police informed that revised traffic regulations would come into effect from 7am of November 28, 2025 and could be subjected to changes as per the traffic convenience and feasibility. Police added that all other traffic regulations in force would remain the same. Police affirmed that there would be Zero Tolerance towards any violation of traffic rules and regulations.
All road users have been advised to strictly adhere to traffic norms and to comply with all traffic signage, including No Parking, No Entry, Parallel Parking, Angular Parking, and other regulatory instructions.
Police have sought cooperation of the public to ensure smooth traffic management, road safety. and a disciplined commuting environment for all.
