Dimapur Lotha Youth Organization (DLYO) successfully concluded the first edition of its Family Carnival on December 19, drawing families, friends and community members into a festive atmosphere of joy and togetherness.
Special guest, Councillor of Dimapur Municipal Council, Nzanbeni Humtsoe graced the occasion and lauded the initiative. She also encouraged the youth body to continue fostering unity through such meaningful programmes.
Carnival convenor, Mhabemo Ezung, under whose leadership the carnival was organised, expressed gratitude to all participants, and said that teamwork and dedication of the committee made the event memorable and enjoyable.
Meanwhile, DLYO extended gratitude to vendors for their cooperation and to every visitor whose presence and enthusiasm contributed to the success of the inaugural carnival.
The organization further acknowledged the collective support of all who played a role in making the event a milestone. DLYO further affirmed its commitment to hosting more such gatherings in the future to strengthen community bonds and celebrate shared joy.
