Nagaland DMC against unauthorized printing of office materials

DIMAPUR, NOV 24 (NPN)

Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has noted that several printing presses and individuals have been printing official receipt books, office identity cards, and other office materials without any valid order or authorization from DMC.
In a press release, DMC chief executive officer (CEO) Thungchanbemo Tungoe, also stated that certain entities have been reproducing the office rubber seal and digitally copying or scanning the signature of DMC CEO for use in those unauthorized materials.
DMC cautioned that such actions constituted serious misconduct and amounted to illegal fabrication of official documents.
It stated that reproduction of the office rubber seal, as well as the creation or use of scanned signatures of the undersigned, without explicit written approval, strictly violated official protocols and could attract legal consequences.
DMC has, therefore, issued a strict and final warning that any printing press, business establishment, or individual found producing, reproducing, fabricating, or distributing any official materials including unauthorized impressions of the office rubber seal or scanned/digitally inserted signatures -would face stringent legal and administrative action as per relevant laws and regulations.
DMC has directed all concerned to cease and desist from such practices with immediate effect.
It stated that only those documents and materials issued through proper official requisition and duly authenticated by this office would be recognised as valid.

Seek permission for holding events: DMC
Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has reiterated that its prior permission was mandatory for organizing any seasonal festivals, events, carnivals, fairs, or similar activities within its jurisdiction.
In a press release, DMC chief executive officer (DMC) Thungchanbemo Tungoe, stated that this measure was being enforced to ensure proper regulation, public safety, traffic management, and cleanliness during such events.
DMC has, therefore, directed all individuals, organizations, institutions, or groups intending to host such activities to obtain permission from the permit branch of DMC in advance.
DMC cautioned that organizing events without prior approval would be treated as unauthorized and was liable for action as per the relevant municipal laws and regulations.
DMC has sought cooperation of all citizens to maintain order and ensure the smooth conduct of public events.
