Nagaland DMC informs on Sunday shop opening

Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed all shops and business establishments under its jurisdiction to remain open on all Sundays with immediate effect until further order.
In a press release, DMC chief executive officer (CEO) Thungchanbemo Tungoe informed that this arrangement was being made to meet the heightened public demand, ease crowding during peak shopping hours, and facilitate smooth commercial activity during the festive period.
DMC has directed all concerned shopkeepers, market bodies, and commercial establishments to comply with its instruction.
