Nagaland: Dy speaker Toiho Yeptho inaugurates CRIF road

DIMAPUR

Deputy speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, S. Toiho Yeptho, inaugurated the CRIF road connecting Naltoqa Junction to CRIF Phuye Junction under Suruhuto assembly constituency. The project was funded under SASCI 2023–24 and Development (State) Fund 2024–25.
Addressing the gathering, the deputy speaker stated that improved road connectivity was essential for the overall development of rural areas, ensuring better access to markets, healthcare, education, and other basic services. He further urged the public to cooperate in maintaining the road for long-term use.
The inauguration programme was attended by Yeptho’s wife, director of social welfare, Tosheli Zhimomi; Ihoto Rochill; head DB, Suruhuto Headquarters; PRO to the deputy speaker; president and general secretary of NPF, 33 A/C Suruhuto; along with village chiefs and leaders from neighbouring areas.
