Nagaland: Dzüleke Village Day observes 20th Dzülekemia Teisozha

DIMAPUR

The 20th Dzülekemia Teisozha (Dzüleke Village Day) was observed on January 25 at the Dzüleke Village Council Hall with L. Kenneth Punyü, associate professor, Science College Jotsoma, as the resource speaker.
Speaking on the occasion, Punyü dwelt on the theme of sustainable development and exhorted the gathering to uphold the values of trust and unity for the progress of the village. He noted that though Dzüleke is a small village, it holds immense potential in areas such as tourism and farming. He further urged villagers to take advantage of improved mobile and internet connectivity once available, stating that such access would enable them to accomplish much even while remaining in the village.
Earlier, the programme chaired by Vitsiepielie Sophi began with a moment of silence for the departed souls of Dzüleke. Invocation was pronounced by Letso Meyase, pastor of Baptist Church Dzüleke, while a special number was presented by Thenupfüko (women folk). The vote of thanks was proposed by Saphrü, GB of Dzüleke Village.
