In preparation for the festive season, the East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC) has directed all business establishments, institutions and banks within its jurisdiction to complete Christmas decorations by November 30.
According to a press release issued by EDTC, this year’s official colour theme is “Gold”, symbolizing light, prosperity and celebration. Establishments have been encouraged to use gold-coloured lights and decorative elements to ensure a uniform and festive appearance across East Dimapur Town.
The Council informed that inspection drives will be conducted after the deadline to ensure compliance, and warned that failure to adhere to the directive would invite necessary action.
EDTC also appealed to all establishments to actively participate in creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere through collective effort and community spirit.
