Nagaland EDTC directs thekadars to obtain permits by Nov 30

East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC) has notified all thekadars/mistries operating within its jurisdiction to obtain valid permits from the EDTC office within a 30-day period—starting from November 1 to November 30, 2025.
According to the directive, the initiative is aimed at ensuring proper documentation of all construction and related activities under EDTC’s jurisdiction. All concerned are therefore directed to complete the permit process within the stipulated timeframe.
Further, EDTC has reminded all registered thekadars/mistries to strictly adhere to the official rates fixed by the Council. Any deviation from the prescribed rates or execution of works without a valid permit will be treated as a violation of Town Council regulations and will invite necessary action as per rules. The Council has sought cooperation from all concerned for smooth implementation of the directive.
