Nagaland Electricity Regulatory Commission to hold public hearing on proposed solar power tariff

Nagaland Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has announced a public hearing on the proposed tariff petition filed by M/s. Gressus Green Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd. (GGESPL), Kolkata. The hearing is scheduled to take place on September 27 (Friday) from 11a.m. at the NERC office, AG Colony, Kohima.

In a press note, NERC deputy director Er. Hekavi N Ayemi said that the petition pertains to the determination of tariff for the proposed 20 MW solar power plant at Zhadima Village, Kohima.

The firm had previously published a summary of the petition on July 26, 2024, in three leading local English newspapers, inviting suggestions and objections from stakeholders. The deadline for submissions was August 8, 2024. Stakeholders and concerned individuals are invited to participate in the hearing.
