Eastern Nagaland College Students’ Union (ENCSU) has made a fervent appeal to the concerned authorities for the prompt release of student scholarships for the current academic session.
In a representation addressed to the department, ENCSU president, Mankap C Konyak and secretary, Pongo P Khiamniungan, stated that the prolonged delay in disbursing scholarships has caused considerable hardship to students, particularly those from economically weaker sections, who depend on the financial assistance to pursue their education and meet basic needs.
Expressing concern over the continued distress faced by students, the Union urged immediate intervention to ensure that the scholarships are released without further delay. ENCSU also conveyed its solidarity with the agitating students and affirmed its commitment to stand by them until the issue is resolved. The Union expressed hope that the concerned office would take swift and sympathetic action in the interest of the student community.
