The Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) held a series of meetings with Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in Delhi between December 18 and 21 to discuss issues related to the Frontier Nagaland Territory (FNT).
According to ENPO, a bilateral meeting was held on December 18 between ENPO and MHA team led by advisor (North East) A.K. Mishra. MHA delegation also included director (NE) A.K. Dhyani, joint director (IB) Rajesh Kamble and joint secretary (NE) Niraj Kumar Bansod.
This was followed by a High-Level Committee (tripartite) meeting on December 19 at Kartavya Bhavan-3, involving the Government of India, Government of Nagaland and the ENPO. The meeting was chaired by Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan. The Nagaland government delegation was led by chief secretary Sentiyanger Imchen.
Further, on December 21, ENPO delegation, along with Rajya Sabha MP, S. Phangnon Konyak, called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his official residence. During the meeting, the delegation extended Christmas greetings to the Union Home Minister and expressed appreciation for his seriousness and commitment towards the FNT issue, ENPO stated.
