The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Special State Office (SSO), Dimapur, has been awarded the “Best Remote Office Award” in recognition of its outstanding performance, efficient service delivery, and commitment to ensuring social security for the workforce in Nagaland.
The award was presented during the 73rd Foundation Day of the EPFO, Ministry of Labour & Employment, held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, Delhi, on November 1, 2025. The honour was conferred by union minister for Labour & Employment, Youth Affairs & Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya.
Speaking on the occasion, Samuel Das, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-II, Dimapur, said the recognition was a reflection of the team’s collective efforts. “This award is a reflection of our dedicated team’s efforts to ensure that every worker, regardless of distance or terrain, has access to timely and transparent Provident Fund services. We are honoured to represent Nagaland at the national level,” he stated.
Over the past months, the Dimapur SSO achieved 100% online claim settlement within an average of 7–10 days, conducted multiple outreach programmes under ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’ to promote awareness among employers and employees, enhanced digital service delivery for access to PF services in remote areas, and partnered with local institutions to expand e-services and grievance redressal mechanisms.
The recognition highlights EPFO Dimapur’s commitment to building a digitally empowered, inclusive, and efficient social security system for employees across Nagaland.
