Faith Hospital launches digital healthcare app

Faith Hospital and Institute of Medical Sciences has launched the Faith Hospital App, a digital healthcare platform designed to enhance patient access to essential medical services. The app was formally launched by Dr. Sukhato Wotsa MLA during a brief programme held at the hospital’s OPD section.
Medical Superintendent of Faith Hospital, Dr. Althea Wotsa, in her address, said the app was developed to bring vital hospital services directly to patients’ fingertips. She noted that health emergencies often arise unexpectedly, stressing the need for immediate support, clear guidance and trusted care.
Highlighting challenges faced by patients—parents waiting with sick children, elderly struggling to travel for medication, and families arranging ambulance services—Dr. Althea said such experiences prompted the hospital to seek ways to make healthcare easier, faster and less stressful. “This question is the reason the app was born,” she remarked.
With the launch, healthcare services will now begin at home and at work, extending beyond hospital gates. The app enables users to book appointments, upload prescriptions, receive medicines at home, access ambulance services, and securely store medical documents. It also connects patients with visiting specialists from outside the state, thereby bringing advanced expertise closer to the community.
Dr. Wotsa emphasized that the app is simple yet powerful, improving access to healthcare, saving time, reducing stress and providing peace of mind. She encouraged all to download the app, underscoring that preparedness makes a difference during emergencies.
Earlier, invocation was offered by Associate Pastor of Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church, Henitoli Viyeshe. The app is available on the Play Store as “Faith Hospital” and on iOS as “Faith Nagaland”.
