Farewell held for addl director of agriculture, Benjamin Lotha

DIMAPUR

The Department of Agriculture organised a farewell programme on January 13 at the Directorate Conference Hall in honour of additional director (Retired), Benjamin Lotha.


The programme was chaired by director of agriculture, Sanuzo Nienu, who welcomed the gathering and acknowledged Lotha’s long and dedicated service to the department. A service profile was presented by additional director Medovilie Ladu, highlighting Lotha’s professional journey and contributions to agricultural development in Nagaland.
On behalf of the ministerial staff, Registrar Temjemlemla Imchen expressed appreciation and conveyed best wishes. A song was sung by officers and staff, while colleagues shared reflections and gratitude for Lotha’s guidance.


In his farewell address, Benjamin Lotha thanked the department for the support and cooperation throughout his years of service. He also emphasised the importance of leading a Christian life in the workplace and encouraged officers and staff to keep the Lord at the centre of their careers.
