Nagaland: FGN impeaches Thinoselie

Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) has announced the impeachment and removal of Thinoselie from all responsibilities, positions, and affiliations under the FGN.
According to the MIP, the decision was taken during a joint meeting held on February 24 at Dimapur involving the Council of Kilonsers, Tatar Hoho, and the Army Wing, Chief of Army. The resolution was unanimously adopted.
The statement alleged misuse of the Government’s name and position for personal benefit, declaring that Thinoselie is no longer recognized as an active member, official, or representative of the Forum FGN and is not authorized to engage in any political dialogue or activities with any political groups including those conducted under the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR).
During the same session, new leadership were appointed: Sukhai Awomi as president, FGN; Tsaliba Sangtam as general secretary and Khevuto as vice president.
