Nagaland: FGN tatar hoho removes Rakho Chakhesang

The Tatar Hoho of the FGN convened an emergency session on February 18, where senior members deliberated extensively on the alleged rampant mismanagement within government machineries under Rakho Chakhesang.
According to MIP, after thorough discussion, the Hoho, being the supreme body of the government, resolved to remove Rakho from his unlawful activities in the government set-up. In a decisive move, the Hoho voted him out with immediate effect. Subsequently, the Tatar Hoho elected Tokhaho Assumi as the new president. Henceforth, all official work will be carried out under his leadership.
