Nagaland: Fire guts house at Kushiabill

A fire broke out at house no. 10 in Kushiabill Village at around 11:14 a.m. on Tuesday. Two water tenders from Central Fire Station, Dimapur, along with one water tender from West Fire Station, Dimapur, were promptly deployed to the site. According to fire officials, the exact cause of the fire could not be ascertained. An Assam-type house belonging to a single family was partially gutted in the incident. The blaze was brought under control within 35 minutes. No casualties were reported. However, sources informed that property worth around Rs.1 lakh was destroyed in the incident.
