Nagaland FNBA condemns drone strike on Khammoi village

DIMAPUR, OCT 24 (NPN)

Fellowship of Naga Baptist Associations (FNBA) expressed strong condemnation on what it termed as “merciless military drone attack” on innocent Naga villagers at Khammoi village (Khenmoi-Loiyi), located across the border in Myanmar on October 20, 2025.
In a press release, FNBA general secretary Rev. Dr. H. Gideon stated that the drone attacks, resulted in the deaths of Phiphot Wangsa, an eight-year-old student, and Khampei Wangsa, a student leader, and injuries to several others. FNBA maintained that “this cross-border military aggression” was a grave violation of human rights and international law.
It further condemned the attack as inhuman and genocidal that utterly disregarded the sanctity of human life, particularly of innocent Naga civilians.
FNBA has, therefore, called upon the authorities responsible, to conduct an urgent and impartial investigation and ensure that justice was delivered without delay.
While condemning the act, the FNBA has also appealed to all armed groups to refrain from violence and bloodshed, and to seek peaceful means for a lasting solution.
The fellowship affirmed solidarity with the victims and the grieving families, prayed for peace, justice, and healing in Naga homeland.
