Nagaland: Funeral service for WSH prez today

DIMAPUR, DEC 17 (NPN)

Western Sümi Hoho (WSH) has informed that the funeral service for its president late Shikaho Zhimomi would be held at Kiyeto Village on December 18, 2025 at 10am.
WSH through its media cell has informed all the organisations, institutions, and well-wishers to take note of the above and participate in paying their last respects.
Appeal for voluntary half day closure: Meanwhile, Western Sümi Hoho has appealed to all the business establishments within the Western Sümi jurisdiction comprising the districts of Dimapur, Niuland, and Chümoukedima to observe a voluntary half-day closure on December 18, 2025 as a mark of honour and remembrance for its departed president late Shikaho Zhimomi.
WSH said that the voluntary act would serve as a collective expression of grief, solidarity and deep respect for an exemplary leader whose life was devoted to unity, integrity and the welfare of the people.
The hoho appreciated the understanding and cooperation of the business community during this solemn period of mourning.
DCCI appeals: Dimapur Chamber of Commerce & Industries (DCCI) has also requested the business establishment in Dimapur to voluntarily close from 6 a.m. to 12 noon in respect of the departed soul.
