The semi-finals of Fusion of the Bands Season 3, presented by the Spear Corps of the Indian Army and managed by The BN Sound, was held on January 29 at the Manekshaw Auditorium, Rangapahar.
The event was graced by zonal president, AWWA, Preeti Pendharkar, who attended as the chief guest. The semi-finals witnessed enthusiastic participation and strong audience support, highlighting the growing platform for young musical talent in the region.
The jury panel comprised noted music producer and proprietor of Tribes Entertainment Pvt Ltd, Alem Alia Jamir; music educator and vocalist of the Clueless Attention Band, Imtikumzuk Jamir; and renowned musician and drummer of the Incipit Band, Yangkumba Jings.
The programme was attended by school children from KV School Rangapahar, ladies from RMS, and army personnel, adding to the vibrant and encouraging atmosphere of the event.
Following intense competition, six bands qualified for the grand finale scheduled to be held on January 31 at Bhagat Stadium, Rangapahar. The finalists are After Party, NTTB, THE Muse, Rock Revolt, Jack in the Box, and Desi Rewind.
