The Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) will be holding G. Rio Memorial Volleyball Trophy (12th Kohima Open Tournament/Men & Women) from November 17 to 20 at Khuochiezie (Kohima local ground).
MLA & Advisor Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Government of Nagaland, Zhaleo Rio, will grace the inaugural function as the special guest on November 17 at 12 noon.
The champion in men’s category will fetch a cash prize of Rs. 1.50 lakh while runner-up will receive Rs. 80,000. Losing semi-finalists will get Rs. 25,000 each.
The champion in women’s category will get Rs. 80,000 while runners- up will be awarded with Rs. 50,000. Losing semi-finalists will receive Rs. 15,000 each.
There will be individual prizes for best spiker and best setter in both women and men category at Rs. 5000 each.
