Nagaland GATC arrives in Dmu; Rock concert set for today at DDSC stadium

Popular hard rock band Girish and The Chronicles (GATC) landed in Dimapur ahead of their much-anticipated concert scheduled for November 27, 2025, at the DDSC Stadium. The event is being organised by the Molungyimsen Lanur Telongjem Dimapur (MLTD) in aid of the House of Friendship Old Age Home, blending music with a charitable cause.
At a press conference held on Wednesday at Niathu Resort, MLTD general secretary Dr. O. Lima Lkr briefed the media about the concert lineup and ticket arrangements. The show will begin at 6 p.m., with tickets available online through Saisabi.com and offline outlets.The ticket categories include Rs 10,000 Donor Pass (admits four, includes car pass and special privileges) Rs 1,000 ground area and Rs 500 Gallery.
Organisers urged fans to purchase tickets early due to limited availability. They also assured audiences that additional parking has been arranged at the Tenyimi complex near the stadium.
Frontman Girish Pradhan, greeting fans in Nagamese with “Kina kase? Kali concert saboli aahi bhi,” said the band was excited to return to Nagaland. GATC will deliver a one and half hour set featuring originals, crowd favourites, and their viral rendition of Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain,” recently performed on America’s Got Talent (AGT).
Speaking about their AGT experience, Girish shared that the journey felt like “four friends going on a trip,” performing on one of the world’s biggest stages. The vocalist also revealed publicly for the first time that the band has completed a new album, expected to release early next year.
While GATC does not plan on joining further competitions, the band has been invited to major international festivals and is preparing for potential tours across Europe, the UK, and the US starting next year.
When asked about the Hornbill Festival, GATC said they would love to participate again, having previously performed multiple times.
