Nagaland Gov, CM, DyCM extend festival greetings

Nagaland governor NK Yadav, State chief minister Neiphiu Rio and deputy chief minister Y Patton have extended warms greetings to Konyak, Chang, and Phom communities on the occasion of their respective festivals– Aoleang, Küdanglüm, and Phom Monyu.
Gov: Governor Nand Kishore Yadav, in a message, extended greetings to the Phom community on the occasion of Monyü, stating that the festival, which marks the completion of the sowing season, is a celebration of gratitude, unity and the rich cultural heritage of the Phom tribe. He expressed hope that the occasion would strengthen bonds of brotherhood and harmony, and wished for peace, prosperity and happiness.
He also extended greetings to the Konyak community on the occasion of Aoleang, stating that the festival heralds the arrival of spring and the New Year, symbolising hope, renewal and prosperity, while reflecting the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Konyak tribe. He wished that the occasion would bring abundant harvest, happiness and harmony, and conveyed his wishes for a joyful and blessed celebration.
CM: In a social media post, the chief minister Rio wished the Konyak community a happy Aoleang and expressed hope that this festival bring renewed hope and abundant prosperity to all as they celebrate the arrival of the new year. “May it be a time of peace, reconciliation, and the strengthening of communal harmony,” Rio said.
He also extended warm wishes to the Chang community on Kündanglüm, hoping that the festival — a time of preparation for the new agricultural cycle — brings a bountiful harvest, prosperity, and collective progress.
Rio prayed for good health and abundant blessings for all.
To the Phom community celebrating Phom Monyu, Rio said “As you welcome spring and the beginning of a new year, may the celebrations usher in growth and prosperity. May it be a time of joyful reunion and the strengthening of familial and community bonds.”
Dy.CM: In a message, Y. Patton extended greetings to the Chang, Konyak and Phom communities as the celebrate Küdanglum, Aoleang and Phom Monyu festivals respectively.
“Let these sowing festivals be a harbinger of peace and harmony,” the deputy chief minister said.
Patton, who is also the state BJP legislature party leader, wished everyone prosperity and happiness for the year ahead on behalf of the state BJP legislators.
