On the joyous occasion of Holi, Nagaland governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla and chief minister Neiphiu Rio have extended warm greetings to the people as they celebrate the festival of colours.
In his message, governor Bhalla said Holi symbolized the triumph of good over evil and celebrated the spirit of joy, harmony and togetherness. He said the vibrant colours of Holi festival remind all of the beauty of diversity and the importance of strengthening bonds of friendship and unity among all communities. The governor prayed that this festival of colours fill every home with happiness, peace and prosperity.
Further, Bhalla expressed hope that the occasion inspires all to uphold the values of love, mutual respect and goodwill and work together for the progress and well-being of the State.
In a social media post, chief minister Rio prayed that as the festival of colours heralds the arrival of spring and the victory of good over evil, its spirit of unity, goodwill, and harmony bring joy, renew friendships, and strengthen the bonds of togetherness among all.
