Nagaland governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla and chief minister Neiphiu Rio have extended greetings to Yimkhiung community on the occasion of the Tsüngkamnyo festival. In his message, Bhalla said this revered harvest festival was a time of thanksgiving, reflecting the community’s deep respect for nature, hard work, and ancestral traditions.
The governor expressed hope that festival strengthen unity, harmony and cultural pride.
In a social media post, chief minister Rio said Tsüngkamnyo festival honours the values of reconciliation, sharing, fellowship, and reinforces bonds of friendship, peace, and unity within the community. He prayed that Tsüngkamnyo strengthen harmony and goodwill among all.
